We have been to the Dickens Fair!

We went to the Great Christmas Dickens Fair in San Francisco/Daly City last weekend.  We saw lots of pretty costumes.

We saw Father Christmas.

We saw a Celtic harpist (and his youngest fan!).

We saw dancing at Fezziwig's.

We had tea at Cuthbert's.

We saw chimney sweeps (they climbed down the chimney into the tea room!).

We saw the Coventry Carolers.

We saw a Steampunk Invasion and Le Legion Fantastique.
Yes, this is a Steampunk Batman!

We saw a Victorian demonstration kitchen.

We even saw Queen Victoria!  (she's the one in the blue velvet cloak)
There is one weekend left, so if you're planning to go, get your costume together and get ready!

Now stir the fire, and close the shutters fast,
Let fall the curtains, wheel the sofa round,
And, while the bubbling and loud-hissing urn
Throws up a steamy column, and the cups
That cheer but not inebriate, wait on each,
So let us welcome peaceful evening in.
