Happy New Year!

AntiqueClipArt.com
Winter
Bread and milk for breakfast,
And woolen frocks to wear,
And a crumb for robin redbreast
On the cold days of the year.
-- Christina Rossetti

2011 was a hard year for me, as well as several other people I know.  Here's hoping that 2012 will be better for us all!

It was a hard year for my family, too--at least the second half was. I hope you have a most blessed New Year!

Thanks, Ashley!

Now stir the fire, and close the shutters fast,
Let fall the curtains, wheel the sofa round,
And, while the bubbling and loud-hissing urn
Throws up a steamy column, and the cups
That cheer but not inebriate, wait on each,
So let us welcome peaceful evening in.
-- William Cowper (1731-1800)
